Congratulatory message from the Minister of Justice, Fadei Nagacevschi, on the occasion of International Translator's Day
Dear translators and interpreters,
International Translators' Day, which was first established on September 30, 1991 by the International Federation of Translators under the auspices of UNESCO, gives me the opportunity to send you sincere congratulations accompanied by the most beautiful thoughts and appreciations.
The indisputable and valuable role of the translator in the daily activity is confirmed and recognized. Only of the way of exposition and interpretation depends on the facilitation of an efficient communication and understanding of the message.
Translation is that process that makes possible the interaction between several languages, between several cultures, more ways of thinking, more perceptions.
I urge you, dear translators and interpreters, to practice this profession with passion and professionalism, to continue to ensure conscientiously, responsibly and honestly all activities, part of the mechanism for the qualitative realization of the act of justice.
