October 6, 2026, Chisinau – The draft Statute of the Union of Mediators of the Republic of Moldova and the draft Code of Ethics of the mediator will be publicly debated. In this regard, the Ministry of Justice invites mediators to the institution's headquarters on Thursday, October 8, at 3:00 PM, where the current versions of the two documents and the proposals formulated during the consultations will be analyzed.
The debate is taking place ahead of the General Assembly of Mediators scheduled for October 13. During the assembly, the Union of Mediators of the Republic of Moldova will be established, the Statute and Code of Ethics will be approved, and the profession's self-governing bodies will be elected.
"The new legal framework for mediation lays the groundwork for strengthening the profession and developing a responsible, professional administration system. That is why the involvement of every mediator matters. I urge you to participate actively, voice your views, and contribute to the development of a modern, citizen-oriented profession grounded in high professional and ethical standards." stated Minister of Justice Vladislav Cojuhari.
