September 18, 2026, Chișinău – On the eve of the Professional Day of the Judicial Bailiff, Minister of Justice Vladislav Cojuhari conveyed a message of appreciation to the professional body of judicial bailiffs and highlighted their role in the effective enforcement of rights recognized by court judgments.
At the event organized for this occasion by the National Union of Judicial Executors, the Minister spoke about the responsibility borne by the profession and the direct impact of enforcement activities on individuals, institutions, and public confidence in the justice system.
"Beyond the results reflected in figures, behind this data lie the rights, obligations, assets, interests, and legitimate expectations of individuals and institutions. Therefore, performance must also be measured by the legality, fairness, proportionality, and quality of the enforcement process. An enforced court judgment signifies the administration of justice; it means that the right established by the court is realized in practice. You are an indispensable link between the authority of the court judgment and the life of the person who has secured the recognition of a right," stated Minister Vladislav Cojuhari.
The Minister urged the community of court bailiffs to exercise professional responsibility and to respect the rights of all participants in enforcement proceedings. Vladislav Cojuhari emphasized the importance of balanced conduct toward creditors, debtors, and involved third parties-conduct that contributes to strengthening the prestige of the profession.
In his address, Vladislav Cojuhari also referred to the commitments undertaken by the Republic of Moldova in the European integration process, which concern the entire justice system, including the legal professions.
"The judicial enforcement profession must play an active role in this transformation, contributing to the strengthening of the rule of law, increasing public trust in the justice system, and aligning professional practices with European standards. For its part, the Ministry of Justice commits to continuing the dialogue and cooperation with the profession. We aim for a profession that is robust, modern, and respected, as well as an enforcement system where efficiency and the protection of rights reinforce one another," stated the Minister of Justice.
On the occasion of their professional day, Minister Vladislav Cojuhari awarded certificates of merit and appreciation to court bailiffs for their professional work and contribution to the proper functioning of the enforcement system.
